I am writing this on Wednesday....well I was sitting on my patio on Monday trying to watch the birds (one of favorite things to do these days) and I noticed one just sitting on the cement in shade. The poor little thing looked so hot.It was a little Sparrow. We have a ceiling fan on the patio so it helps some. I think he was sitting there getting some air.
Today I seen another doing the same. After a bit they fly off. There is not a thing wrong with them. Guess they just need to come under the patio and sit under the fan and cool off like the rest of us. I feel sorry for anything that has to be out in this heat. I keep food and water out for them hoping it will help.
For me the birds are one of the beautiful things that God gave us to enjoy and I do. We all need to take time out of our busy lives to enjoy some of these beautiful things that Our Lord has put here for us to enjoy. Our world would be such a drab place if not for all of these things.
Well enough of that.....I will really get going on that subject...lol.
Hope all are staying cool as possible in this heat. I am looking forward to fall and some cooler temps. It is really hard to do any work in the yard right now. Yard needs to be cut but too hot for that too... : :(
